The Zambia National Olympics Committee (NOCZ) has published its 16th edition newsletter, highlighting all sports activities conducted by the committee since January 2023. The newsletter features captivating stories such as the Anoca Athletes Forum, a learn-to-play session hosted at the Olympafrica Center, and how the 2023 Commonwealth Day inspired the next generation of Zambian athletes. Some of the contents in the newsletter include a reflection on the highly anticipated Birmingham 2022 Games Post-Mortem Meeting. The committee gathered to assess their performance and identify areas for improvement, with the insights gained paving the way for future success on the international stage. In their commitment to fostering collaboration and exchange, the NOCZ hosted the President of the Botswana National Olympic Committee (NOC). This visit allowed them to strengthen the bonds between the two nations and explore opportunities for mutual growth and development in sports. The committee also organized a Learn to Play session featuring Boxing, Baseball 5, and Judo, specifically tailored for emerging athletes from the Olympafrica catchment area. This interactive event was an integral part of the 2023 National Youth Day celebrations. The NOCZ is appealing to members of the public to download their newsletter to gain more information on the activities conducted since January of this year. Stay informed and get involved in Zambia's sports journey. (Note: This response includes corrections for typos and grammar mistakes. However, the 2023 date mentioned in the original article seems to be a typo as it is currently 2022.)
