Eight year old Ethan has broken the 200 backstroke record at the second league swimming gala. Representing the Lusaka International Community School - LICS - Warriors, Ethan expressed his ambitious goal of representing the country at the Olympics and earning a spot on the national team. Ethan's coach, Mmbalo Sililo, expressed pride in his team's performance as they finished third, highlighting their determination despite competing against bigger clubs. Zambia Swimming Union (ZASU) president, Guy Phiri, lauded the gala as a significant success, emphasizing the federation's satisfaction with the progress demonstrated by the participating clubs.
