The National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) conducted a momentous Strategic Planning Workshop for the Zambia Martial Arts Federation (ZAMAF) to shape a bright future for the federation. Led by Mr. Mwape Konsolo, the facilitator, the workshop held significant importance, providing a crucial benchmark for ZAMAF's comprehensive strategic plan. The primary focus of the two-day workshop was to establish the mission statement, vision, and core values that would guide the federation's actions and contribute to its growth. Mr. Kambikambi, Secretary General of NOCZ, praised ZAMAF for taking the initiative to devise a clear strategic plan, recognizing them as pioneers of change for the next generation of athletes. NOCZ has already assisted five affiliate federations in creating their strategic plans and aims to extend this support to more federations for successful implementation. The workshop witnessed the active participation of key figures, including ZAMAF President, Mr. Mwewa Besa, Secretary General, Michael Sekeleti, as well as members of the Executive, Coaches, and Athletes. These strategic plans will serve as guiding lights for the federations, aligning their efforts towards a shared vision and fostering collaboration among all stakeholders to achieve common goals.
