Bartholomew Mukuta, a 21-year-old rower from Mwinilunga district in the North West Province, is set to represent Zambia at the upcoming African Olympic & Paralympic Qualification Regatta, scheduled for October 23-26, 2023, in Tunis, Tunisia. He began his rowing journey after receiving a scholarship to attend Sentinel Kabitaka School during his final years of schooling, where he embraced the sport through the Kansanshi Sports Foundation. Bartholomew has gained valuable experience in rowing while representing the Kansanshi Rowing Club in both Zimbabwe and South Africa. His ultimate goal is to proudly represent Zambia on the international stage, with the Olympic Games as his ultimate aspiration.
