The Commonwealth medalist and fastest man, Muzala Samukonga, has returned to camp in Germany after participating in the Diamond League. In order to improve and beat his records, Samukonga will continue training in camp ahead of the upcoming African Championships in a few weeks. As an Adidas athlete, Samukonga expressed his gratitude to everyone who has been supporting and rallying behind him. He credits their support for boosting his morale and offering advice since he participated in the Kip Kaino tour. In the just-ended Diamond League, the champion secured second place in his first appearance after finishing behind Van Niekerk.
