Volleyball Club coach Lackson Mazumbo says preparations for the Africa Volleyball Club championship are on course to travel to Tunisia for a Volleyball tournament that will be held from 9th to 21st May 2023 in Tunisia. In yesterday's interview, Mazumbo said that they have been training for a long time to ensure that they perform well in the upcoming games. To ensure that they adequately prepare, Lackson added that there is a need to play friendlies against teams in the region so that Buffaloes are ready to compete. Mazumbo said Buffaloes will travel to Tunisia to compete and not to make up numbers and have added Clement Chama from Nkwazi and Mwape Chifwembe from Green Eagles to cement the team. Buffaloes booked a ticket for the Tunisia outing after winning the Zone Six Volleyball Championship which was staged in Lusaka last December. In last year's match, the Zambia Army-sponsored side beat Academica De Maputo of Mozambique 3-2 at OYDC Zambia Sports Development Centre. Volleyball Zambia
