Zambia showcased an outstanding performance at the recently concluded Africa Para-Badminton Championship held in Uganda, clinching a total of four medals. Among the notable athletes, Martha Chewe proved her mettle by securing one Silver and two Bronze medals, while Vienna Hamauchenje demonstrated her talent and earned a Bronze medal as well. These two remarkable athletes were part of a delegation of 10 Paralympic athletes who represented Zambia at the 2023 Para Badminton Championship. The tournament attracted participants from over 12 African countries, making it a highly competitive event. In response to the excellent display of skill and determination by the athletes, the Badminton Association of Zambia expressed their joy and satisfaction.
