In light of recent concerns surrounding the accuracy of the league tables, the Zambia Rugby Union (ZRU) has acknowledged these issues and assured everyone that they have not gone unnoticed. These discrepancies have arisen due to unresolved historical problems and the process by which the tables are compiled. While the ZRU has resolved the historical issues, they have decided not to make significant changes to the current operational procedures to avoid further complications during an already complex situation. However, it is important to emphasize that the tables will undergo thorough scrutiny before their public release. "Once the current season concludes, we will immediately commence work on implementing new systems and an entirely fresh approach to managing union affairs. These changes aim to minimize disputes, reduce ambiguity, and ensure the provision of accurate and timely information in an organized manner. Moreover, we recognize the need to address several other aspects of the sport, and shortly, we will share strategic documents with all stakeholders to keep them informed and prepared for the upcoming season," disclosed the ZRU president. Part of the clarity message includes, "Additionally, I would like to take this opportunity to clarify that in the event of a tie, the team with a superior for/against aggregate will be declared the winner." We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the inaccuracies in the previous tables. Please find below the correct and updated versions.
