Jassy Singh on Sunday gave his father a befitting send-off after winning the Muna Singh Memorial Rally Championship, which saw budding driver Seth Gomes steal the limelight. The National Rally Championship second round was dubbed Muna Singh Memorial Rally Championship in honor of the two-time African champion, who died in India last month. Jassy, who was revving a Subaru Impreza alongside navigator Sajid Khan, clocked 1:10:43 over 154.4 kilometers. The competitive stage distance was 96.20 kilometres and the road section was 58,20 kilometres Kyle Latife was second after timing 1:20:05 in a Mitsubishi Evolution Nine. Laston Hamoonga finished third with a time of 1:20:09 while Kleevan Gomes ended in fourth position with 1:20:46 Reigning African and national champion Leroy Gomes finished in a distant position. Leroy and his navigation Urshlla encountered challenges with the Mitsubishi Evolution throughout the race and had a good finish and he also holds the Rally Championship title which was held in March this year.
