The Zambia Air Badminton team is set to make their debut at the Hammamet 2023 Africa Beach Games, with their first match beginning today. The team consists of six talented athletes: Olga Siamupangila, Everlyn Siamupangila, Matilda Kalandanya, Chongo Mulenga, Edward Mwanza, and Timothy Kafunda, who will be participating in various events including the Mixed Team Relay, Women's Triples, and Men's Triples, scheduled to take place from 27th to 30th June 2023. In addition to their current challenge, the athletes are also aiming to secure a spot in the upcoming Bali 2023 World Beach Games, scheduled to be held in August in Indonesia. This tournament presents an opportunity for them to showcase their skills and qualify for the global stage.
