This comes on the heels of the Zambian Futsal National Team's impressive victories in two international tournaments held in Italy and Croatia. Nkandu emphasized that these victories and strong performances have the potential to attract investment and sponsorship opportunities for the various teams. He reiterated the government's unwavering commitment to supporting all sports disciplines. Meanwhile, Futsal National Team Coach Andrea Cristoforetti expressed satisfaction with the team's growing international recognition, owing to their exceptional performances. Furthermore, Futsal Association Chairperson Tarak Mehta anticipates heightened competition in the upcoming season and calls upon corporate entities to consider sponsoring some of the Futsal leagues. The Futsal National League is set to resume this Thursday, while the qualifiers are scheduled for later this month.
