Former Chipolopolo goalkeeper Kakonje Kalililo and ZANACO Ladies counterpart Sarah Chungu are currently in Johannesburg, South Africa, attending the first-ever Goalkeeper Training/Instructors Course Level 1 organized by FIFA and COSAFA. Each country in Southern Africa has sent two representatives, a male, and a female, to attend the program, which started yesterday and will run for six days under the watchful eye of FIFA and CAF instructor Mr. Alejandro Heredia. The course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills they need to develop and coach goalkeepers at all levels. Topics covered include goalkeeping principles, techniques, drills, and game analysis.
