The Trinidad and Tobago Commonwealth Youth Games, known as Trinbago 2023, are rapidly approaching, with only three weeks remaining until the grand event. As the anticipation builds, the organizers have unveiled the official mascot, COCOYEA, a representation of a leatherback turtle. COCOYEA embodies strength and resilience, mirroring the young athletes who will be competing in the Games. This captivating mascot, created by local artist Djibril Annisette, will serve as the face of the event, adding a vibrant touch to the festivities. Furthermore, the Games now have an official theme song titled "STAY READY," performed by Freetown Collective. This empowering anthem encourages young individuals to nurture their aspirations, dream big, and unleash their full potential. The carnival-themed opening ceremony promises to be a spectacular affair, and tickets for this captivating event, as well as the complete sports program, are currently available for purchase. It is worth noting that attendees under the age of 18 can enjoy all the events free of charge. Ticket sales are facilitated by Kanoo Trinidad Limited, the designated ticketing supplier. Trinbago 2023 has already gained the support of 12 sponsors and partners, including NGC, ProMan, Guardian Group, Republic Bank, Blue Waters, Massy Motors, Tourism Trinidad Company, Lanher, and FCB Foote.
