On June 15th, 2023, Zambia's Mixed Martial Arts fighter, Humphrey Mulenga, also known as Cobra Dante, won his EFC debut with a dominant performance, securing a victory by a Rear Naked Choke in the first round. During the match, Geulor Sondi quit in the first round after tapping out due to exhaustion from the chokehold. In a post-match interview, Mulenga credited his coach, who is also his training partner, for his win. He remarked, "Thank you, Coach. I don't have many words to say, but I believe our training wasn't easy, and it took a lot of effort from the gym and all those involved. I am confident that I will soon fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)."
