Special Olympics Zambia is participating in the 2023 Special Olympics Africa Leadership Conference in Ethiopia and has joined the Cameroon team for the sports leadership conference. SOZ National Director Nancy Ntalasha, Athlete and Special Olympics Africa Vice President Daisy Nguni, and Vice Board Chairperson Peter Lupasa Petulu are representing the program at this year's Leadership conference in Ethiopia. In a related development in Cameroon yesterday, the supporting committees joined a Bocce training session, which is meant to promote team spirit, build self-confidence, and boost morale. "The benefits are inclusive and convenient to play both indoors and outdoors. The mental focus and stimulation development of gross motor skills and body balance will help in building self-confidence," SOZ has said.
