Former Roan Rugby Club player Chilambe Kaweme has donated K25,000 worth kits to his former club pledging to do even more. Kaweme's gesture was driven by his concern for the state of the club's playing kit noting that former players abd officials still play a big role in supporting their former clubs through financial and material means. Chilambe said this was his way of giving back to the club that has opened many doors of opportunities for him especially after moving abroad. He moved to Australia in 2010 and continued playing until 2020, he currently plays in the second division of the Australian Rules Football.
