The Zambia U-17 National Team will regroup next week ahead of next month’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament. Ian Bakala had a ten-day camp with his team between the 5th and 15th of March as the first stage of preparations for the AFCON Championship. Bakala is expected to name a provisional squad of around 30 players in readiness for the TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations Algeria 2023. Zambia was drawn into Group B alongside Nigeria, Morocco, and South Africa. The U17 AFCON will run from April 29th to May 19th and the four semi-finalists of the tournament will qualify for the FIFA World Cup to be played later this year. 📸FAZ
