The stage is set to welcome over 1,100 athletes, alongside 500 esteemed dignitaries, officials, guardians, and technicians hailing from 53 countries. This grand celebration of sport, culture, and values is expected to gather around 2,000 accredited individuals. The Organizing Committee reports that preparations are currently 85% complete, leaving no stone unturned in ensuring a successful event. From June 23 to June 30, 2023, Hammamet will serve as the epicenter of African and global sports, embracing the spirit of Olympism. Notably, the presence of Robin Mitchell, President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), lends a special significance to the occasion, bolstered by the support of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Furthermore, the event benefits from the exceptional organizational impetus provided by the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA), which will be represented at the highest level by its esteemed President, the Honourable Mustapha Berraf. It is with great pride and excitement that we announce that Zambia will be represented in multiple sports disciplines during the African Beach Games. The Zambian delegation will showcase their skills and talent in airbadminton, beach volleyball, beach handball, and teqball. The official team representing Zambia will be announced soon, adding to the anticipation and fervor surrounding the games.
