Teqball, a captivating fusion of table tennis and football, has gained immense popularity since its inception in 2020, becoming one of the nation's fastest-growing sports. In a remarkable feat, Zambia showcased its skills in this sport during the second edition of the 2023 Association of National Olympic Committee Africa (ANOCA) African Beach Games held in Tunisia. Although they didn't secure any medals as debutants, the team's participation provided them with an invaluable opportunity to compete in more international tournaments. Beyond attracting players from diverse communities, Teqball has also captured the attention of passionate coaches who have eagerly stepped forward to mentor the youth at OYDC Zambia. The future of Teqball in Zambia looks exceedingly promising, as the country has made several appearances at the continental level, engaging in thrilling matches with countries like Zimbabwe, Angola, Tunisia, and Nigeria, among others.
