Zambia Table Tennis Association has realeased the list of winners for the recently held NFCA Zambia China Friendship Copperbelt Open Tournament that was held in Chambishi. Christine Chanda from St. Nicholas Combined School in Chambishi secured victory in the under 13 Girls Category with a 3-0 win against teammate Salifwanji Nawakwi. In the under 13 Boys category, James Zimba of Spinners triumphed over Patrick Muwowo of Don Bosco Youth Center in Kabwe with a 3-0 score. Lucia Mwale of Ng'ombe Community School clinched the women's veterans category in a round-robin format, defeating opponents from NFCA Club. Friday Ng'andu, the former Zambian International and current National Team coach, dominated the Men's Veterans Category, securing a 3-0 victory over Musonda Chipasha of Olympic Africa in the finals to claim the Gold Medal. The Women's Singles title went to Latifah Nalavwe, the current Zambia seed from NASDEC Table Tennis Club, who emerged victorious in a round-robin competition that included Mambwe Mwape of Levy Mwanawasa University and three Green Buffaloes players,Anita Chibomba, Janet Mwelwa, and Ruth Mutailoni. Charles Banda, the current Zambia seed from NASDEC defeated Emmanuel Munga of Green Buffaloes Table Tennis Club 3-0 in the Finals.
