The Zambia National Women's Hockey Team has been knocked out of the Hockey5s World Cup after losing two consecutive matches to South Africa and Ukraine. The Golden Girls hopes for a World Cup breakthrough were dashed with a tough 9-0 loss to Ukraine in their second Group B match. And Coach Floyd Chomba expressed disappointment over missed chances, saying,"I must confess that I am so disappointed with this second loss. I assumed we had settled the nerves after the South Africa game but unfortunately we came back worse against Ukraine." Zambia wrapped up their Group B campaign with a showdown against Australia, ending in a 2-3 scoreline favoring Australia. The match, though competitive, was a mere formality as both teams had already been eliminated from the contest. The teams that have not qualified for the Quarter Finals will go on to play in the Challenger's Cup.
