The Zambia U18 Baseball5 team, set to compete in the upcoming Baseball5 Youth World Cup in Turkey, has revealed their official kits. These kits have been sponsored by Play Off, an Italian company specialized in baseball and softball apparel and equipment distribution. Kenny Matishi, the General Secretary of the Zambia Baseball and Softball Association (ZBSA), expressed gratitude for this sponsorship, considering it one of the most significant contributions to the development of baseball and softball in Zambia. The ZBSA is also exploring the possibility of collaborating with Play Off to create and sell Baseball5 kits, aiming to generate revenue for the Association. Play Off's owner, Valeria Bortolomai, expressed their delight in sponsoring Team Zambia and their commitment to fostering the growth of the sport not only in Zambia but globally. Zambia is eagerly preparing to participate in the inaugural WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup scheduled to take place in Ankara, Turkey, from October 10 to 15, 2023.
