A spectacular Saturday unfolded as numerous athletes gathered to showcase their skills in football, netball, and teqball during the Teulings Youth Sports Challenge. Their enthusiasm and dedication have been building up towards the grand finale of the 2023 Teulings Youth Sports Challenge, which will be hosted by OYDC Zambia at the end of the year. Teqball coach Richard Mulenga noted that the competition has become increasingly intense, with teams vying for the coveted trophies and medals offered as rewards. He expressed the OYDC Teqball Club's consistent excitement whenever the center management organizes these games. One of the standout players, Mutale Chishimba, who recently earned a spot in the national team and even competed in the 2023 African Beach Games in Tunisia, exuded confidence in his team's ability to clinch the Teulings teqball championship at the end of the year. This exciting event saw over 500 athletes converge at OYDC Zambia to participate in three sports disciplines: teqball, football, and netball. The entire challenge was generously sponsored by Coen Teulings, Chairman of Merifin Capital in Belgium, adding an extra layer of excitement to the competition.
