The Zambia Wheelchair Basketball team have secured their first win by defeating the host nation, Ghana, with a commanding score of 42-14. Previously, Zambia faced setbacks with losses to Morocco (19-25), South Africa (4-30), Algeria (14-85), and the Democratic Republic of Congo (2-67). In this remarkable turnaround, the team's captain credited their success to improved communication among the players. Coach Siwell Kamponje highlighted the pivotal role of strong defense, winning rebounds, and intercepting balls in Zambia's triumphant performance. Zambia is set to take on Kenya in their upcoming game.
