In December 2023, four weightlifters are scheduled to represent the country at the Qatar Grand Prix, a crucial Olympic Games qualifier. He emphasized that these four athletes are the nation's finest and will soon begin their training camp. He also mentioned ongoing discussions with the Ministry of Sport and the National Sports Council regarding sponsorship. Isaac Sinkala, a weightlifter who could earn an Olympic qualification with a strong performance in Qatar, stressed the need for rigorous preparation.
