Cherry Muchindu, the current champion of Zambia and the strongest woman in the Southern Hemisphere, has once again broken the regional record for the third consecutive time. In 2022, she initially set a high standard by lifting an impressive 250 kilograms. Now, she has reached even greater heights by lifting a staggering 270 kilograms, surpassing her own record of 260 kg. Cherry achieved these phenomenal feats during the 2023 Africa's Strongest Man and Woman Championship held in Livingstone. The competition, which involves the participation of eight nations, is taking place from 27th to 29th October 2023.
