WeSkate Mongu is hosting the National Skateboarding Championship at Skate Park on the 2nd of September 2023. It will also be Johnny Kalenga's homecoming party as he returns from the Mandela Washington Fellowship. Incorporated with music, dance, and other exciting activities throughout the day, the championship promises to be an unforgettable experience. This will also be the first National Championship where girls will be competing. There will also be other athletes from all over the country. "This will be history in the making, and we are inviting the whole town to come and support our people," John Kalenga said. He further added that they are seeking local support to make the event a success as it will be free.
