PRESIDENTIAL CUP OPENS HOCKEY SEASON.

The 2023 Hockey season kicked off over the weekend with the President’s Cup taking center stage at the OYDC Zambia - Sports Development Centre in Lusaka. The President’s Cup is the curtain raiser for the upcoming league season, this year’s tournament attracted four male teams and five female teams. In the women’s category on 16th April 2023, Lusaka Tigers beat D.E Stars 6-0 in the final to win this year’s tournament while Hotspurs claimed the men’s championship beating Springfield 5-4 on penalties after playing off to a one-all draw.
