Zambian Mixed Martial Arts fighter, Greg Maluma, has once again made history after winning the just-ended Shining Stars African awards with entries from across the continent. Mixed Martial Arts Zambia is once again celebrating as the medalist scooped the awards over the weekend. "MMA fighter Greg Maluma has been awarded the Shining Star Africa Sportsman of the Year award. What an achievement! The country is proud of this young man!" MMA Zambia exclaimed. In expressing his happiness, Maluma's management took to social media to thank everyone who voted for him and rallied behind him during the voting period. "On behalf of our warrior, I would like to thank everyone who voted for him for the Shining Star Africa Sportsman of the Year award. We have scooped the trophy and now stand as the shining star sportsman of the year," the management shared. The management further thanked one of Zambia's best actors, Mr. Cosmas Ng'andwe, who received the award on behalf of Maluma and also won an award in the acting category. "Thank you so much, Shining Stars Africa Awards, for such an opportunity. Thank you so much, Mr. Cosmas Ng'andwe, for representing our champ. We really appreciate it," he said.
