Cherry Muchindu, recognized as Africa's strongest woman, has now achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the 7th Strongest Woman in the world. This impressive title follows Muchindu's outstanding performance in the World Strongman games held in Ohio, USA, where she secured the 7th position within the top 10 global contenders. Being the sole African representative in the top 10, Muchindu demonstrated her strength by earning 24 points, solidifying her position as the 7th Strongest Woman on the international stage. In the women's division, Rebecca Roberts of the USA claimed the coveted title of the World's Strongest Woman, earning 49 points. Despite tying with Lucy Undertown, Roberts secured her victory with a more robust performance in the challenging stone lifting event. Shifting focus to the men's 40 plus category, David Majaya, a gold medalist, exhibited his strength by finishing in the 10th position globally with 18 points. Similar to Muchindu, Majaya stood as the only African representative in the top 10 of his category, further emphasizing the noteworthy achievements of African athletes on the world stage.
