NKANA SLAPPED WITH SEASON-LONG HOME BAN

Following crowd disturbances during the Kitwe Derby, Nkana Football Club has been handed severe punishment by the Football Association of Zambia disciplinary committee. They will be prohibited from using Nkana Stadium for the entire 2023-2024 season due to the unfortunate incidents that occurred during the match. An official statement has indicated that Nkana will have the option to host their home games at a venue located sixty kilometers away from their usual stadium. However, in response to the ban, Nkana Executive has expressed their intention to appeal the decision. They believe that it is an emotional punishment and not a fair and just one.
