Yesterday, all roads led to Levy Mwanawasa Stadium as the people of Ndola were eager to meet Zambia's best players and offer support to the team. In a show of solidarity, the stadium was filled to capacity, with 40,000 fans in attendance. Nevertheless, some were blocked outside by the police due to a lack of space inside. Almost every corner of the stadium was packed with football fans, except the VVIP and executive boxes. The rest of the reserved areas, including the VIP and media zones, were brimming with supporters eager to catch a glimpse of the national team as they took to the pitch. Serge Aurier's own-goal in the opening minutes only fueled the excitement and hunger of the fans who were still waiting outside the venue. Unfortunately, by the time they arrived, the stadium had already reached full capacity. Consequently, they had to stand with others or sit on the floor of the reserved areas to experience the Chipolopolo boys' performance. ZED SPORTS team was fortunate enough to capture some unforgettable pictures of the football lovers. Congratulations to our boys! 👏
