Zambia National Netball team has today minted Bronze Medal after defeating Fiji 56-55 in a thrilling match held today to fight for the third position. Today's game was followed after Zambia's loss against Malawi's semi-final rematch which ended 48-35 in the semi-final. Coach Lazarous Tembo is impressed with his team's performance and winning of Bronze despite being booted out of the Auspacific Netball Series by Malawi after a rematch. On Wednesday 26th March, Zambia played the World Defending team, Tonga who won 59- 47 goals. Tonga being the Champions, put up a good performance during the first half with a lead of 31-24 against Zambia. However, Zambia did their best and qualified for the semi-finals after beating Malawi 50-46 in the crossover preliminary round but got booted out by Malawi who seemingly came back for revenge. Zambia's journey at the Auspacific Netball Series in Australia was mind-blowing as they started by defeating Kenya, Beat Singapore, Malawi, and finally, Fiji.
