Monday, 27th March 2023, the Netball Zambia Council has ratified the suspension of Kaoma Netball Association for non-payment of affiliation fees for the 2023 season. The decision was arrived during the 2023 Annual General meeting held in Lusaka. According to letters sent out by Secretary General Pritchard Ngoma, the suspension is with immediate effect adding that it can only be lifted once the dues are settled. “This is as a result of nonpayment of affiliation fees for the 2023 season resulting in your automatic suspension as contained in Article 4.8 of the Netball Zambia Constitution. Further, the Council has dissolved executives from 5 associations for nonpayment of affiliation fees in the last 2 years. The affected associations will have to call for fresh elections upon settlement of affiliation fees.
