ABSA acknowledged their corporate sponsors for enabling Tisa's bright future and commended the Zambia Air Force (ZAF) for offering her a job and sports training. Tisa's extraordinary journey took her from homelessness in Lusaka to full-time employment with the Zambia Air Force, thanks to ZAF Commander Lieutenant General Colin Barry's offer. She traveled 300 km to participate in the ABSA Marathon, where ABSA covered her costs and provided food and shelter. "We commended our corporate sponsors for their generosity that has ensured this young lady not only starts a new life but a journey of a brighter future. We also commended the Zambia Air Force ZAF for coming on board to offer TISA a job opportunity and training to enhance her sports career," the minister said.
