Zambia Netball team has today arrived back in the country at 12:30hrs at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport via Ethiopian Airlines after minting a bronze medal in Australia. The team is back in the country after putting up a good performance at the ongoing Auspacific Netball Series in Australia with it winning 4 teams in order to carry the bronze. In the first match, Zambia beat Kenya, Singapore, and Malawi and lost to the defending Champions, Tonga, and lost to Malawi in the semi-final and fought for the 3rd place by beating Fiji 56-55. As it stands, Zambia's ranking is expected to go up after becoming third in the Auspacific Netball Series in Australia. Coach Lazarus Tembo is impressed with the team's performance within a few weeks after being promoted as National team head coach.
