After impressing for Zambia at the Africa Cup of Nations, Clatous Chama marked his return to club action with a commanding victory for Simba SC. The Zambian midfielder played the full match as his team cruised to a 4-0 win over Tabora United in the Tanzanian Premier League on Tuesday. Chama, who came off the bench in the second half for Zambia during their draw against Tanzania at the Nations Cup, set up Patson Daka's goal within 12 minutes of entering the field. Simba currently sit third in the league standings with 29 points from 12 games, five points behind leaders Young Africans and two point behind Azam. The win keeps their title hopes alive, particularly with a game in hand compared to both their rivals. Since returning to Simba in 2022 following a short stint in Morocco with RS Berkane, Chama has re-established himself as a vital cog in the team's machinery. He will be hoping to continue his impressive form and play a crucial role in their pursuit of the league title.
