Junior Zulu has signed with Mufulira Wanderers on a one-year loan from Prison Leopards, the team announced earlier today. Junior Zulu, a gifted winger who was formerly with the Nakambala Leopards, showed off his abilities by contributing five goals and seven assists to the Zambia Correctional Service-sponsored team last season. His background gives our team more depth and knowledge. Junior was ecstatic to complete his signing as he said, "I am thrilled to join Mufulira Wanderers Football Club, which is a very big team in Zambia." I'm here to help, and I'll work to make the fans and the team remember these special times." A few days earlier, Emmanuel Saviel Junior, a 20-year-old striker from Malawi, was also signed by Mufulira Wanderers to a three-year contract that expires on June 30, 2027. Saviel Jr., who scored eight goals in the tenth week of the Malawian League to take the lead in goal scoring, won the 2022 Thumbs Up Premier League Golden Boot with an outstanding 24 goals. He comes to us after two terrific seasons in the TNM Super League, where he played well while out on loan at Civil Service United and Bangwe All Stars. Emmanuel Saviel Junior said, "I am thrilled to be the first Malawian to join the 'Mighty' Mufulira Wanderers Football Club," after agreeing to a deal. "Being a part of the most decorated football club in Zambia is an honor. I am honored to fly the Malawian flag with pride and hope to use this play to represent my nation. I would want to express my sincere appreciation to FCB Nyasa Big Bullets FC, my previous team, for their professionalism in helping to arrange my transfer." "I want to express my gratitude to my Malawian fans for their continuous support during my home career. Your persistent prayers are greatly appreciated by me. I cannot find the right words to convey how grateful I am. God bless each and every one of you." Follow Zed sport for the latest sports news and updates.
