Trident Football Club earlier today announced the departure of Peter Musukuma, who was recalled by his parent club, Zesco United FC. Peter Musukuma (21) joined 'The Conquerors' in the 2022/23 season from Zesco United FC's feeder club, Zesco Malaiti Rangers FC. He went on to establish himself as a key player for the team, which earned promotion to Zambia's top football league (MTN/FAZ Premier League) and an ABSA Cup semi-final appearance. As the inaugural Absa CUP goal scorer for the club, his name will live on in the hearts and minds of the Conquerors supporters. This was accomplished in the 2023 ABSA Cup Quarterfinals when Trident FC defeated Green Eagles FC thanks to his lone goal. The dynamic midfield player departs Kalumbila after making 14 appearances since the team's MTN/FAZ Premier League debut the previous season, totaling 2 goals and 2 assists. The CEO of Trident Football Club, Mr. Mangulenje Mvula, expressed gratitude to Peter Musukuma for his commitment and sent him best wishes for his upcoming endeavor.
