The African Union Sports Council Region 5, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth, Sport, and Arts, will be hosting an AUSC R5 WALK FOR LIFE event this month. In the upcoming week, the event will kick off in Livingstone on the 30th, with the Honourable Minister of Youth, Sport, and Arts, Hon. Elvis C Nkandu MP, gracing the event. It is likely to feature a few participants from Zimbabwe. The Ministry of Sports has therefore called on people and other stakeholders to turn up in numbers and support this activity by taking a walk in the stipulated kilometers. "We are inviting you to participate in the AUSC R5 WALK FOR LIFE, which will take place in Livingstone on September 30th, 2023. The event will be interesting, and we want various stakeholders to be a part of it," the Ministry has said. This annual event will not only be a beacon of supporting good health, but it will also promote the building of positive networks among the participants.
