Team Zambia has had a strong start at the ongoing FIM Africa MXoAN, with Leah Heygate finishing first in the WMX and Dale Holliday finishing first in the Masters class in heat 1. In the MX1, Scott Heygate and Aidan Carstens took the 8th and 16th positions respectively. In the MX125, Micheal Strunk finished 15th, Matthew Pinetown finished 22nd, Allan Vorster finished 28th, and Devin Vorster finished 34th. Clayton Shiel and Ithai King claimed 23rd and 25th positions in the MX Lite, while Branson Pitchford, Luzibo Mbozi, William Liebenberg, and Luma Mbozi secured 14th, 19th, 23rd, and 25th positions respectively in the MX 50cc. The team is currently preparing for heat 2.
