Leah Heygate is the only female rider representing Zambia in the Women's Motocross Heats. The team is currently in Cape Town, South Africa for the 2023 MXoAN. She has been racing motocross since she was 5 and is currently a five-time Motocross of African Nations Ladies Champion. She hopes to continue showing the world what women can do while representing Zambia. Leah also won the GXCC Championship in South Africa. The riders hit the track this morning at the Zone 7 Motocross Track in Cape Town to get a feel for their bikes and track conditions before the heats.
