Emily Jossam, the Malawian Women's National Team defender, has recently made a significant move from Nyasa Big Bullets to the Zambian Women's Super Division team, ZESCO Ndola Girls. Serving as captain for Nyasa Big Bullets, Emily's impressive performance led her to join ZESCO Ndola Girls on a permanent deal. She marked her debut for the team in an international friendly match against Congolese powerhouse TP Mazembe, although the home team emerged victorious with a 2-0 score. As the 2023/24 FAZ Women's Super Division Season approaches, Emily's addition to ZESCO Ndola Girls' roster intensifies their preparations. She is not the only Malawian player making a name for herself in Zambia; Emily joins the ranks of other talented footballers such as Chimwemwe "Chimzy" Madango Madise and Madyina Ngulube from Elite Ladies, as well as Wezzy Vitumbiko Mkandawire and Ruth Mhango from the Zambian Institute for Sustainable Development (ZISD) Women's Football Club. Having triumphed in the 2021 FAM Women's National Championship as part of Nyasa Big Bullets, Emily's experience is expected to fortify the defensive line of ZESCO Ndola Girls as they compete for the league title in the upcoming season. Emily Jossam's acquisition enhances the team's depth and skill, positioning them as a formidable contender in the league.
