Zambia's U-20 women's national team are at full strength ahead of their first leg World Cup qualifier against Congo DR on Saturday. Head coach Charles Haalubono is pleased with the progress of his team and is confident that they can secure a victory at home. "Training is going well and we now have all the players in camp," Haalubono said. "Today's session went smoothly and I'm satisfied with the progress." Haalubono revealed that his team is inspired by the success of the senior women's team, who recently participated in the World Cup. "Our seniors have become our role models," Haalubono said. "We also aspire to reach that level and the players are putting in a lot of effort to achieve that. They are telling me, 'Sir, the seniors went to the World Cup, we can do it too.' We are working exceptionally hard to obtain the desired result, which is a win." Zambia's goal is to make history by qualifying for the U-20 Women's World Cup for the first time. The team will need to win the home leg and then achieve a favorable result in the away leg in Congo DR to progress to the next round.
