Zambian Super League side Kansanshi Dynamos have announced the departure of head coach Boyd Mulwanda by mutual consent. Mwenya Chipepo has been appointed as the new head coach, less than two weeks after leaving his previous role at Power Dynamos. First Assistant coach Donwell Yobe will take over as the interim head coach for today's game against Kabwe Warriors on the Copperbelt. According to transfer news expert Wami Katanga, Chipepo has reached an agreement with the 'Mabanga Boys' and will be officially unveiled in the next 48 hours. Kansanshi Dynamos have had a poor start to the season, winning only once in their opening ten games, drawing six, and losing three. They are currently stuck in the relegation zone with just nine points to their name. The appointment of Chipepo is seen as an attempt to prevent the team from being relegated. Chipepo comes with a wealth of experience, having won the league title with Power Dynamos last season. He will be the man Kansanshi Dynamos will depend on to change the fortunes of the club.
