Zambia national team coach Avram Grant has expressed his satisfaction with Clatous Chama, Kelvin Kampamba, and Zaphania Phiri's performances in Zambia's 3-0 win against Uganda. "The team performed well today. The second half was much better, but in the first half, we missed chances. It's a good improvement. I think five players played for the first time for me, and I can tell you that I'm happy with all of them. Clatous did well, Kelvin Kampamba played well when he came in, and Zaphania gave us very good assists. It's very good because we need a big squad, and it was good to see these players," Grant said after the match. Zambia played two friendlies with Egypt and Uganda. The first one ended in a 1-0 defeat for Zambia, and the second one ended 3-0 in favor of Zambia. Coach Grant expressed that he has achieved his objective of making a strong team and doing well in Africa, as they have a very tough group. "This camp has achieved all the targets. My objective was for the team to be stronger, and we want to do everything to win the next match for the World Cup and to excel in Africa, even if we have a tough group," Grant said. Coach Grant further added that he doesn't have a permanent starting eleven as the system only picks those who are in good shape.
