Power Dynamos coach Mwenya Chipepo has revealed that Chipolopolo boys' coach Avram Grant was unable to make himself available for the club's CAF Champions League assignment due to his busy schedule. The Football Association of Zambia had offered Grant's availability to the two Zambian club CAF envoys to provide assistance if needed during their continental campaign. However, Chipepo disclosed during a post-match interview after his side's 2-2 draw against SC Simba of Tanzania on Saturday that Grant couldn't manage to join his technical bench due to his busy schedule. "Yeah, we wanted Coach Avram Grant to come and help us because we are new to this competition, but due to his busy schedule, he couldn't make it," Chipepo said. When asked if they might consider going with Grant to Tanzania for the return leg, Chipepo said it's up to the Power Dynamos Exco to decide. Following the 2-2 draw at Levy Mwanawassa Stadium, Power Dynamos will travel to Tanzania on 30th September for the second leg scheduled at Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium.
