Kafue Celtic FC is poised to defend their championship at the upcoming 2nd annual U20 UBUNGANI CUP in South Africa. Drawn into a challenging Group B, they will contend with tough opponents such as Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, and Norken Park High School. Group A is composed of Moroka Swallows, Supersport United, University of Johannesburg, and BSI Academy. The team is scheduled to arrive in Johannesburg on Nov 27, engaging in a preparatory friendly before the tournament officially commences on Friday, Dec 1. Expressing gratitude, Club Director Lee Kawanu said they appreciate BSI Academy for once again affording them the opportunity to expose young players to elevated competition in a different setting, contributing positively to their development. Anticipating a more challenging tournament this year, Kafue Celtic FC remains optimistic, drawing strength from the valuable experience gained by their players in the previous edition. Coach Carlos emphasized their reliance on this past experience as they embark on the upcoming competition.
