The Elite Ladies FC has announced the acquisition of Delicious Hamwiinga, who has joined the team on a one-year loan from Green Buffaloes Women's Football Club. Hamwiinga, recognized as the best defender during her loan spell with ZANACO Ladies FC in last season caught the attention of The Elite Ladies FC and her acquisition is aimed at bringing added experience, grit, and size to the team. Having officially been part of the club since August 2023, the completion of paperwork took some time, nonetheless,Hamwiinga made a notable debut in their recent 2-1 away loss to YASA Queens.
