Copper Queens defender,Esther 'Gelo' Banda has made a generous donation to Bauleni United Sports Academy (BUSA), her girlhood club. she made the contribution during the FAZ Lusaka province third division league match between BUSA and Kabide FC,among the things she donated were training equipment, including footballs, cones, and captain armbands During the donation, Esther Banda urged both male and female players to give their best in the upcoming league matches. Her hope is for the girls to regain promotion to the Women's Super League and the boys to secure a position in division 2. The Chief Operations Officer of BUSA, Mr. Fred Kangwa, expressed gratitude for the donation,assuring Esther Banda of the academy's commitment to the continued development of both the girls' and boys' teams. BUSA has played a significant role in the advancement of women's football in Zambia, producing stars like Barbra Banda, Hellen Mubanga, Mary Mwakapila, and Mary Mulenga.
